- Do I need to pick a time zone?
- Only for timed events — pick the UTC offset that applies on your event's date. All-day events skip time zones entirely, since they have no time of day.
- Why is the Yahoo Calendar link separate from Google/Outlook?
- Yahoo Calendar has a long-standing quirk where it doesn't reliably convert a UTC time to the viewer's local time — the event can show up at the UTC time instead. Google and Outlook's links don't have this problem.
- Will the .ics file work with Apple Calendar / Thunderbird / other apps?
- Yes — the .ics file is a standard RFC 5545 calendar file, not a Google/Outlook-specific format. Any calendar app that can import a .ics file can use it.
