- Why is there only a download, not an add-to-calendar link, for recurring events?
- Google/Outlook/Yahoo's quick add-to-calendar web links don't reliably support recurrence rules. A downloaded .ics file does — every major calendar app imports its repeat pattern correctly.
- Why isn't there a time zone selector, and will this show at the right time for everyone?
- This creates a "floating" time — it always shows at the clock time you entered, in whichever time zone the person viewing it has their calendar set to. That's the right behavior for a recurring event where everyone's in the same time zone (a weekly team meeting, a class), and it never drifts across a daylight-saving change the way a fixed-offset conversion could. For an event that needs to show the correct moment to people in other time zones, use your calendar app's own recurring-event feature instead — it can track a named time zone properly, which this tool deliberately doesn't attempt.
- I picked Weekly but didn't check any days — what happens?
- It repeats on the same weekday as your first occurrence date, every week (or every N weeks with a custom interval). Check specific days only if you want a pattern like "every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday."
